The Alkali Lake Community Story

The battle to beat alcohol abuse

By Indigenous Stock Exchange

The Lismore AA Indigenous Peoples Group is VERY pleased to announce that Phyllis and Andy Chelsea from Alkali Lake (BC Canada) have accepted their invitation to be Guest Speakers at the National Indigenous AA Convention in November!

The story of Alkali Lake is a very powerful one ~ told by the people themselves ~ of how their community went from 95% alcoholic to 95% sober!

The film "The Honour Of All", telling the Alkaline Lake community story will be screened.

Phyllis and Andy Chelsea have been very much a part of that process, so to have them come and share their experience, strength and hope with us in Australia is a privilege not to be missed.

For more information on the background story go to http://www.4worlds.org/4w/ssr/Partiv.htm.
