Yachad Accelerated Learning Project is now on-line
The important national education project YACHAD is now online.
The website for the Yachad Accelerated Learning Project has been launched.
To visit the YALP website, simply click: Yachad.
The YALP website will help us share information about the Project and will assist in bringing all those involved closer together.
The Yachad Accelerated Learning Project (YALP) may well be the most geographically disparate education project to have taken place in Australia. Not only do the schools and communities involved span the Australian continent, from Cape York to Kimberley to Victoria, but our Israeli Educators from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem are continuing to work on our YALP programmes, prior to their return to Australia later this year.
The YALP website features:
§ information about the origins, goals, activities, educational strategies and future plans of the Yachad Accelerated Learning Project;
§ descriptions of the current Project sites: Aurukun, Queensland; Halls Creek, Western Australia; and Shepparton, Victoria;
§ profiles of YALP partners from corporate, government, community, education and philanthropic sectors; and
§ information about the YALP team, which includes our Project Leaders, Israeli Educators, Advisory Board, and Executive.
Your feedback on content and suggestions for potential new features are appreciated and will help us with the future development of the website.
I look forward to your feedback via the 'Contact Us' section of the website: www.yalp.org.au/contact.php
I do hope that you find the Yachad Accelerated Learning Project website both informative and useful.
With regards,
Dino Asproloupos
YALP Project Manager
