Muhammad Yunus calls for social Stock Exchange

The founder of Bangladesh's Grameen ("People's") Bank has called for a social stock exchange.

At a major international conference of the world's most social reformers held at Oxford University, the founder of the world famous Grameeen Bank, Muhammad Yunus has called for the development of a "social stock exchange". According to the British magazine Social Enterprise Mr. Yunus called on the world's philanthropic agencies to invest in the idea. The Indigenous Stock Exchange first began trading in May 2003 with the Ngunnnawal Trading Floor held in Canberra.
