Corporate Social Responsibility & Indigenous Enterprise

One of the major issues at the Tech Museum Awards was the increasing importance of corporate social responsibility.

Indigenous Australians have always insisted in walking shoulder to shoulder with prospective partners. As major corporations start to review their social responsibility, the case for Indigenous communities to develop arguments about investments for social and economic gain becomes more important. Here Deputy Chairman Kevin Fong talks with Cisco's Peter Tavernise about corporate social responsibility and the need to show transparent social and economic benefits that come from particular investments. Chairman Gerhardt Pearson and Tech Museum President and Ceo Peter Giles look on. Clearly demonstrating the social, cultural and spiritual benefits of particular investments will become the next major challenge for the ISX.
