Arts NSW 2010 Indigenous Arts Fellowship

Salary: $15,000

Applications are now open NSW based Indigenous artists to apply for the 2010 Indigenous Arts Fellowship (Biennial) $15,000.

Closing Date: 5pm, Monday 28 June 2010

The biennial NSW Indigenous Arts Fellowship was established in 1996 by the Government in partnership with Sydney City Council to assist an Indigenous artist to further develop their career.

The applicant's proposal can include further study or training, professional research or the undertaking of a particular arts project. The Fellowship may be undertaken in Australia or overseas.

Applicants are required to demonstrate that their project will:

• contribute to the development of NSW Aboriginal arts practice by reflecting standards of excellence in arts practice, and

• benefit New South Wales through the promotion of the NSW Aboriginal arts and cultural sector.
