Camel Culling Based Enterprise

An Australian mobile abattoir owner and operator is seeking other equity partners to develop this billion dollar camel products supply industry in Australia to produce returns of around 20% on investments.
There will be a preliminary exercise for this proposed project, to refine and develop camel field harvesting and processing techniques to suite the geography and infrastructure of the region. This is only necessary to develop the capability of an already existing mobile abattoir design and other specially developed technologies and portable infrastructures.

That will then allow a viable business to be established which will also permit inhabitants of remote communities in central Australia to become engaged with and derive employment benefits from what is now considered an environmental pest animal.

There should also be significant flow-on effects supporting supply and other ancillary employment opportunities.
The ultimate objective, over approximately 8 years, is to, as completely as possible; eradicate the one million feral camels in central Australia with a minimum target of at least 90% eradication.

This business will also be based on ensuring that export camel meat produced exceeds the quality expectations of the markets.
Having proved the principles involved, additional mobile abattoirs can then be manufactured and located at strategic points to cull and then manage feral camel numbers.
At an even later stage, when 90% plus eradication has been achieved, these abattoirs may then be redeployed on the basis of moving to where the numbers are the greatest to effectively maintain the cull's objectives.
Other participants in this eradication project include pet meat operators, stand alone meat processing plants and government sponsored helicopter shooters. All operations involved in this culling program are going to be the subject of stringent animal welfare scrutiny and conditions.
Capture and processing techniques associated with the mobile processing concept ensure that animals are captured and killed very quickly, thus reducing stress related meat science factors to an absolute minimum. Other industry participants will find it difficult if not impossible to meet these conditions when inspected for compliance.
