Story In the Yindjibarndi lore it is said that before creation the sky was very low. When the creation spirit called Marga got up from the earth, he lifted the sky and the world out of the sea. They still live in this country, the early morning mist that drifts over the water is the smoke from their breakfast fires. It is the Marga who shaped and named the country, birds, animals, and finally the Aboriginal people who come from the Marga themselves. In other places they call it The Dreaming but here we call it When the World Was soft. Price: $1585 Size: 60cm X 185cm If you would like to purchase or make an appointment to view this painting and other works please call Raelene Saylor at the phone number below.
