About the Artist
His father was the Gurrumuru leader Nyikamula. His mother is Balatj. He is the younger brother of Datjirri #2 Wunungmurra, a young man groomed for influence whose artistic career has inspired this artist to follow in his footsteps. Napurrawuy has shown great promise and has been identified as one of the up and coming artists of his generation.
